Martin graduated from the University of Wales Dental School in Cardiff in 1987. He worked in the Specialities of Periodontology and Oral Surgery before taking up a post as Senior House Officer in Oral Surgery in Bristol Dental Hospital and School. There he carried out major and minor oral surgery procedures, treated facial injuries in the A/E department and instructed students in the practice of oral surgery. He was also involved in research into the causes of facial injuries.

In 1990 Martin went into General Dental Practice, and was a partner in a Practice in Ty-Newydd Road in Barry from 1992-2000 before going into partnership with his father in Penarth from 2000-2012. He worked as an associate in a Practice in Penarth from 2012-2016 when he started here at The Waterfront in Barry.

Martin provides routine general dental services as well as cosmetic treatments including all-ceramic crowns, veneers and tooth -whitening. He is also an accredited provider for Smile-Tru (invisible Orthodontics).

Martin lives in Penarth with his wife Sandra. They have four children and three grand-sons. In his spare time Martin enjoys following his two favourite sports golf and rugby. In fact if he's not in work he can usually be found on a golf course somewhere!
